Hey everyone,

     So I finally got an Etsy site back in December (about time), but since I went on vacation soon after, I haven't really had time to set it up. I plan on doing that this week as well as making a bunch of plushes and maybe some hats as well for sale. So far I have 2 Legend of Zelda: Windwaker pig plushes completed so I'll be putting those up within the next couple days.

     I've also recently been bitten by the artist bear bug! Made my very first teddy bear the other day (I'll post pics of him soon too). I definitely recommend the Teddy Talk forums ([link]) if you are interested in making artist bears too. The people there are very friendly and helpful and there are a lot of resources to get you started.
  
    This afternoon, any and all plush production will come to a halt however, because George R.R. Martin is in town and I must get my books signed! *fangirls* A Game of Thrones is such a good series and while the show looks awesome, the books are just so much better! I'm excited.

    Convention season for me is just around the corner, so I'm also working out which costumes I'm going to make with my friends. This year at Anime North, it's looking like I'll be wearing Korra (Legend of Korra) on Friday, a Mario Kart group on Saturday (might even go on stage if everyone gets their costumes and cars done) and an Ampharos gijinka on Sunday to make my friend's Flaffy gijinka.

    There's also an upcoming Studio Ghibli film festival going on at TIFF (www.tiff.net for more info) where they even have a costume contest. A friend of mine and I are planning on going as Arrietty and Spiller (I will be Spiller lol), so that's another costume to look into making in only a couple weeks.   

That's it for now. Hopefully I'll be using this journal and my tumblr more for updating you on my Etsy products and not just convention updates once or twice a year haha.
